According to the data of Czech Statistical Office the Czech industrial production returned to its pre-crisis level of 2008. This progressive trend began already in the second half of the year 2013 and continued during 2014. Namely the industrial production in the first half of 2014 grew in year-on-year comparison by 6.2 % and in the second half partly because of the higher comparative base the industrial production grew by 3.5 %. The growth was present in nearly all months of the year excluding only August and November. Compared to average month of the year 2010 the industrial production was 10 % higher in month-on-month comparison. What’s more, the production in November and December of 2014 was even higher to 2008 with its growth climbing up to 13 %. Also the value of new industrial contracts grew in every industrial branch excluding only clothing manufacturing. The year-on-year growth of industrial contracts value was 12.1 % thus being the best result since 2010 with somewhat larger percentage of foreign contracts (12.9%) and lower percentage of domestic industrial contracts with the growth by 10.5 %.
