CTP has a total of four logistics and industrial parks around Prague: CTPark Prague North in Kozomín and Úžice, CTPark Prague Airport in Kněževes, CTPark Prague West in Chrášťany, and CTPark Prague East in Nupaky.
Michal Bujárek, Business Developer at CTP, comments:
“We see our parks in the vicinity of the capital as a top premium, there is not a single square metre free in these places. This holds especially true for CTPark Prague East due to its location where the Prague ring road crosses and is situated towards the D1 motorway, where tens of thousands of cars pass daily. The effects of the coronavirus pandemic have only increased this interest and we are preparing to expand CTPark Prague North.”
There are now eleven tenants operating in the six buildings at CTPark Prague East with a total gross lettable area of 90,000 m2. The park offers a combination of buildings ranging from larger warehouses and production space to a newly built long and shallow building with glass façade which is ideal for showrooms, shops, or even e-shops. The park also features an office building.
CTP Prague East hosts a dynamic network of tenants, ranging from international to local companies. Raben, CTP’s long-term tenant across the CTP Network that provides services in 13 countries in the areas of contract logistics, domestic and international transport for clients operating in various industries, has the largest space in the park in terms of square metres. The next largest tenant at the park is XXXLutz, which has a furniture warehouse and a customer outlet. Other tenants include Intercars, an innovative supplier of automotive parts and accessories, and Sweet Delight, which makes baked good for CostaCoffee, Starbucks and others.
From their new 2,600 m2 unit at CTP Prague East, MAPO medical will distribute pharmaceutical products, medical equipment, and technology for the healthcare and wellness sectors. MAPO medical chose this location and CTP for several factors. They already have a successful 1,500 m2 facility in CTPark Brno, proving their success and ability to grow with CTP. The new location st CTPark Prague East gives them excellent proximity to the D1 motorway, while the space itself is top tier quality equipped with the latest technologies with a custom-built representative office for their sales team.
Jakub Kodr, CTP's Head of Business Development for the Czech Republic, added:
“We are always pleased to know that the space serves a purpose with some added value for our tenants. And this is exactly the case when medical supplies, protective equipment and coronavirus tests, which are particularly in demand at this time are stored under one roof at CTPark Brno.”
“The aim of the project at CTPark Prague East is to streamline the continuous supply of our clients. Therefore, the strategic location of the logistics centre near the D1 motorway was crucial for our selection. The quality and speed of delivery of medical supplies and equipment are our priority,” said JUDr. Martin Polach for MAPO medical.
CTP certifies all of its buildings under the prestigious BREEAM sustainability certification, with newly completed properties targeting ‘Excellent’ and ‘Outstanding’. The new buildings therefore include, for example, rainwater management, waterless urinals, monitoring and control of energy consumption within individual building sections, intelligent lighting controlled by daylight and motion sensors or a special seamless floor for the installation of an automated storage system. The total roof area is also prepared for the installation of photovoltaic panels.
