EC: Consumer Markets Scoreboard - 2016 Edition
The European Commission published its 2016 Consumer Markets Scoreboard which monitors EU consumers' ratings of how 42 goods and services markets work. As for the Czech Republic, the top three goods markets in the Czech Republic are ‘Books, magazines and newspapers’, ‘Large household appliances’ and ‘Non-alcoholic drinks’. The poorest performing goods markets are ‘Second-hand cars’, ‘Fruit and vegetables’, and ‘Meat and meat products’.

BDO International Business Compass 2016: Czech Republic ranks 26th worldwide, but its potential is below average in regional comparison
According to the 2016 BDO International Business Compass, the Czech Republic ranks 26th in overall social and economic development worldwide, down one place compared with 2015. Also, the country ranks 4th for market potential within the Eastern European region (which includes Central Europe); this is below the region's average.
