Competitiveness: Slow rise of lifelong learning in Czech Republic

 

According to the Eurostat data published on 7 July 2015, lifelong learning in the Czech Republic has been rising, although at a mild pace. The share of the Czech population aged 25-64 participating in education and trainning (either formal, non-formal or informal, undertaken on an ongoing basis with the aim of improving knowledge, skills and competence) has increased from 6.8% to 9.3% between 2009 and 2014. The leader within the EU28 is Denmark with 31.7% in 2014. Read more.
