The Czech Technical University in Prague (CVUT), Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, will launch a newly accredited study program Industry 4.0 in September 2016. Applicants can send their applications by mid-September. Engineering will still be the pillar of the program, but the dimensions of virtual reality or sensors for the Internet of Things, for example, will be added. The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering will cooperate with the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and the Czech Institute of Informatics, Robotics and Cybernetics. Companies can participate in "bringing up" of future qualified employees.
CVUT will work together with GE Aviation that gained support of the Czech government for its plans to build a turboprop development, test and produce engines in the Czech Republic. Read more in articles by CVUT, Lupa.cz and Hospodarske noviny daily here, here and here (in Czech).
