Veronika Kinclová of Clifford Chance lead the AmCham Human Resource Committee through the impact of the proposed Labor Code amendment last Friday.
The conclusion of most in the session is that we need new rules that allow employees to achieve what they want- to work from anywhere- and this amendment provides some of those rules.
In the new draft amendment, instead of crafting rules that encourage employers to agree that employees can work from anywhere, the legislation constructs requirements for employees to work in one other specified place.
The liability imposed on employers will likely mean that most companies will be very reluctant to allow more than the minimum required home office.
