The EU’s Carbon Border Tax Will Redefine Global Value Chains

Levies on emissions tied to imports will impact companies inside and outside the EU and could alter the competitive balance between nations in many industries. Companies around the world that export to the European Union—the world’s largest single market—are now on notice. After years of discussion and debate, the European Commission in late July unveiled its long-anticipated plans to make importers and non-EU manufacturers pay for the carbon emissions associated with the goods and materials they sell in the EU.

Delta Air Lines to Resume Direct Air Connection with Prague

Delta Air Lines, American air carrier, is going to resume its direct flights from Prague to New York, JFK Airport, effective 26 May 2022. Throughout the summer flight schedule, the airline plans to operate the route up to seven times a week using Boeing 767-300 aircraft.
