New limits on public aid
The Ministry of Industry and Trade has prepared an amendment to the Government Regulation on the permissible level of public aid in the cohesion regions of the Czech Republic. The amendment responds to the amendment of the European Block Exemption Regulation, which is effective from 1 July 2023.

Rožnov has been designing cutting-edge chips for 30 years
This year marks the 30th anniversary of the semiconductor design centre in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm, which is awaiting further significant development. The centre is a key location for onsemi, a company from the United States that designs and manufactures chips and integrated circuits in Rožnov for customers from all over the world, as well as for domestic applied research and universities. Components from Rožnov are mainly destined for automotive and communications technology, computers, but also consumer electronics, industry, energy and a wide range of other sectors.
