The business services sector in the Czech Republic is expanding and growing even faster than we forecast last year. In 2016 the sector has added 16% of new jobs and the average projected employment growth for next year is the same level. This gives us a good foundation to reach 100,000 employees in the sector by 2020. The sector has become one of the largest employers in the Czech Republic and one of the fastest growing industries in the country, says director of the Association of Business Service Leaders in the Czech Republic (ABSL) and director, Accenture, Ota Kulhánek.
The report was prepared by the Association of Business Service Leaders in the Czech Republic (ABSL) in cooperation with CzechInvest, Deloitte, Grafton Recruitment and Jones Lang LaSalle. Read also ABSL's 5 factors affecting business services sector in the Czech Republic.
Investors rate the country as the highest in Central Europe for new opportunities, the report says. Nevertheless, emerging-europe.com points to the fact that the Czech Republic has been facing drop in FDI volumes in recent years, together with Hungary and Croatia.
