"If I wore a hat, I’d take it off to them now. The team working on this project has done a great job in recent months and has not slept much. If I was to exaggerate slightly, I would say that we built it via the Internet and over the phone, because due to the measures to stop the spread of COVID-19, the client’s representatives could not visit the construction site in person. I am all the more pleased that, looking at the final product, you wouldn’t be able to tell. In addition, the hall aspires to an Excellent-level rating in the BREEAM environmental certification,” said Pavel Sovička, Panattoni’s Managing Director for the Czech Republic and Slovakia, adding: “Three years ago we built a food storage hall in Hořovice for Raben. I am glad that we have managed to follow that up with another successful project.”
“This is a joint project between Raben Transport and Raben Logistics Czech for one of our clients. In the new hall at Panattoni Park Stříbro, we will be operating a cross-dock, which will be used for storage, sorting and distribution of goods.” says Jakub Trnka, Managing Director of Raben Logistics Czech a Raben Logistics Slovakia. “I really appreciate that despite the difficult conditions, Panattoni managed to complete the construction at the beginning of the summer, because the hall is very important for us and our business partners.”
The new cross-dock hall in Stříbro also excels in its technical solution, which isn’t met by no other project on the market. "Panattoni was able to offer our clients a solution consisting in the construction of a completely new hall to meet their demanding requirements, in addition to the extremely short time," says Dušan Drábek, industrial real estate team leader of the international consulting company BNP Paribas Real Estate, which mediated the lease of the hall to Raben.
Panattoni Park Stříbro is one of the largest industrial zones in the Czech Republic. More than 3,000 people work here, and it is home to two dozen major international manufacturing and logistics companies. That the site is an attractive one was recently underlined by the fact that KION Group, the handling equipment manufacturer, has already ordered its third hall at the site.
