Prague Joined the TOP 10 Meetings Destinations of the World

Prague has succeeded in the global competition and occupied the eighth place in the ICCA ranking of the most popular congress destinations. In 2017, according to the Czech Statistical Office, 4,127 conferences were held in the Czech capital, representing a third of all the events that took place in the Czech Republic. More than half a million delegates participated in the Prague conferences, according to Prague Convention Bureau.

Vaclav Havel Airport Prague to become a non-smoking airport

On May 1st, 2018 Vaclav Havel Airport Prague became a non-smoking airport. From this date it will not be allowed to smoke in any interior areas and all the smoking corners in transit area will be closed. By this decision Prague Airport follows the modern trend and responds to passengers’ feedback. The smokers among passengers will still be free to use the designated areas in front of the terminal buildings.
