Czechstartups.org: Czech car sharing start-up AJO has grown from Brno to Prague

Car sharing services are becoming relatively popular around the world. The most visible company is without the doubt an originally French-based start-up BlaBlaCar. It provides its services in many countries, including Czech Republic where it bought the Czech number one company Jízdomat. A competition is on the rise for them and it comes from Brno.

The Calvert Journal: Prague and St Petersburg named among world’s top destinations

Prague and St Petersburg are two New East destinations competing on a world level, according to travel site TripAdvisor. The two cities recently placed in the Top 25 World Destinations contest, which forms part of the site's 2017 Travellers' Choice Awards.

Prague Airport: Prague Airport increases passenger safety with detection controls for trace elements of explosives inside checked baggage

Prague Airport plans to implement detection controls for trace elements of explosives inside baggage checked for transport in aircraft cargo holds effective May 2017. As a result, airport Security Control workers will be able to open baggage and check the contents. The new process is, following the implementation of explosive trace detection on people and in carry-on baggage (September 2015), the next step towards increased passenger safety. The change will not affect the time needed for passenger security control.
