Prague became the best meeting destination of New Europe region again, shows the annual ranking compiled by Slovenian Kongres Magazine. Meetings Star Awards ranking, celebrating 10th anniversary in 2018, evaluates the European meeting destinations regarding their meeting infrastructure, marketing activities and a set of other factors. The award ceremony announcing the winners took place on January 22, 2019 at the Conventa trade show in Ljubljana.

The jury evaluated 90 meeting destinations in total, based on the set of 75 various criteria. The number of 4* and 5* category hotel rooms (22,491) and hotels (258), banquet hall maximum capacity (2,400 pax), the largest hall available in the city (10,237 m2) and maximum hall capacity in theatre style (13,500 pax) are among the criteria evaluated in the ranking.

Prague ranked 7th and the Czech capital became the leading destination within the New Europe ranking again, followed by Athens and Warsaw. >> Read full article by Prague Convention Bureau and the Kongres Magazine.
