On March 31, AmCham Czech Republic members met with Minister for Regional Development and Vice PM for Digitization Ivan Bartoš.

Digitization is a whole toolkit for making government and society more transparent and more effective. Policy based on measurable targets is made easier and more precise through the digital collection and analysis of data.

That is why we proposed 1) digital training of government officials, workforce, and students, 2) rapid installation of the most modern digital infrastructure, 3) public databases of data to boost the ability of entrepreneurs to develop solid business plans, 4) a digitized construction process that introduces parallel permit approvals, and 5) a tourism scorecard that provides a true measure of the industry's impact and the success of government policy initiatives.
