AmCham Vice-President Ondřej Krajíček of Y Soft added that not only does this boost our defense, but having networks that flow across borders helps Czech entrepreneurs advance throughout Europe.

We spent some time discussing economic security. For AmCham, that security is built on better technology, and being better at developing technology in Czech universities and company research laboratories. Being a technological superpower can be a form of defense (see Taiwan and semiconductors), as well as increase our importance as allies.
