"At a time when politics is being capture by populism, we would like to focus on its underlying motivation: access to world's increasing prosperity. The Czech Republic has done well during the current electoral period. Can we do better in the next? We can, but we will need to focus on attaining better technology and the knowledge, both in technical expertise and management, to commercialize it successfully. Over the next months, we will be publishing the ideas of leaders in business, academics and government so that the citizens of the Czech Republic can make their decision based not on fear of the future, but hope based on the reality of how we have risen in the last century, and how far our expanding knowledge and technology can take us in the next hundred years."
Michal Nebeský, Citi Country Officer, President of the American Chamber of Commerce in the Czech Republic
