AmCham Letter to the Government on National Recovery Plan Priorities

We appreciate the opportunity to comment on the Czech National Recovery plan. Our comments are based on our chamber’s purpose to support the growth of Czech and American economic relationship and our goal to make the Czech Republic a top ten economy in the EU. We will therefore focus on areas of the recovery plan in which American business can contribute and which will increase the country’s innovative potential (the primary source of economic growth).

U.S. Chamber of Commerce Releases New Transatlantic Economy 2021 Report

Yesterday, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce released annual survey of the jobs, investment, and trade links between the United States and Europe -- The Transatlantic Economy 2021 – in partnership with AmCham EU. This year’s report confirms that the U.S. and Europe remain each other’s most important economic partners despite political turbulence and the COVID-19-induced recession.

AmCham Letter to Health Minister Jan Blatny on Vaccination Policy

We write to provide comment on the vaccination policy from the perspective of businesses. Our aim is to end the pandemic with the lowest loss of life possible and to return the economy to operations unaffected by pandemic as soon as the suppression of the pandemic makes it possible. These comments are made in recognition of the difficult choices facing the government, and are intended to put the organizational resources of private companies to work in helping the government and society to overcome this crisis.

Survey: Online vs Offline environment in the Workplace

It´s already been a year ago since the first cases of the new Covid-19 disease appeared in the Czech Republic, which gradually reduced the possibility of personal contacts and caused a massive transition to the online environment in the global labor markets. Probably none of us expected that even a year later this situation will not change much.
