We have not yet recovered from how our world virtually changed overnight. From a colourful world of abundance and wealth, we suddenly find ourselves in a world where we have to avoid personal contact, cannot move freely and fear for our and our family’s health. Despite all the big fears and smaller ones, many see the new situation as an opportunity. Suddenly we all communicate via modern technology, organise video- and teleconferences, scan, e-mail and find out that it might actually not be necessary to keep binders full of papers.

Judging from mobility data, the lockdown measures in the eurozone seem to have different impacts across the countries. With some countries easing the lockdown measures, while others remain locked down for longer, the risk of an asymmetric recovery has increased

Due to Coronavirus (SARS CoV-2), the operation of retail shopping facilities in the Czech Republic is affected by operational restrictions imposed by the public authorities from 12 March 2020 to protect public health and safety. The Czech Government also introduced bills which prohibit the termination of leases due to non-payment of the rent, provided it is caused by restrictions imposed by the public authorities in relation to the pandemic.
