2019 EU Justice Scoreboard: Czech Republic
EU Justice Scoreboard measures Independence, Quality and Efficiency of judicial systems of EU Mamber States. The Scoreboard mainly focuses on litigious civil and commercial cases as well as administrative cases in order to assist Member States in their efforts to create a more investment, business and citizen-friendly environment.

ING Bank Czech Republic: The CNB delivered dovish hike as expected
The Czech National Bank delivered a 25bp hike as broadly expected by the market. While the CNB staff forecast still shows one more hike for 2019, Gov Rusnok clearly signalled no more hikes this year as a base case. Any further hike this year is only likely if there is a significant improvement in foreign developments. This does not seem very likely at this point.
University Impact Rankings 2019 by SDG: good health and well-being - 4 Czech universities are on THE list
The Times Higher Education University Impact Rankings are global performance tables that assessing universities against the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. They use carefully calibrated indicators to provide comprehensive and balanced comparisons across three broad areas: research, outreach, and stewardship. This first edition includes more than 450 universities from 76 countries, including Czechia.
Deloitte Survey: Czech CFOs: We have peaked already
The level of optimism of Czech CFOs has slightly decreased after peaking last year. According to CFOs’ predictions, GDP will grow by 2.3% on average (0.2 percentage point less than in 2018). The overwhelming majority (98%) believes that employee costs will grow again this year. The majority (73%) of CFOs in the Czech Republic admit that their team has been prepared for the implementation of artificial intelligence only partially or not at all. This is the outcome of the 10th annual Deloitte CFO Survey 2019.
