Euro in Czech Republic: It could take 5 years for Government to decide

In terms of economy, the Czech Republic is ready for adoption of the common currency. The outlook for the economy is positive, said EC's Vice-President for Euro & Social Dialogue in Prague. OECD: 31 countries sign tax co-operation agreement to enable automatic sharing of country by country information

As part of continuing efforts to boost transparency by multinational enterprises (MNEs), 31 countries, including the Czech Republic, signed the Multilateral Competent Authority Agreement (MCAA) for the automatic exchange of Country-by-Country reports.

Stavební fórum: Volume of public tenders in construction sector drops in 2015

In 2015, Czech public authorities issued tenders on construction works amounting to Kc 94.6 mld, a fall by 29.3% year-on-year and the lowest value in the past five years, Stavební fórum informs.

AMSP and Mediatel launch Masters of Crafts online catalogue

Association of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises and Crafts of the Czech Republic in cooperation with Mediatel launched an online catalogue of craftsmen at www.mistriremesel.cz. The list includes more than 18,000 contacts and includes information on individual craftsmen (IČO, membership in professional associations)...
