New report highlights gaps in EU Digital Decade 2030 cloud adoption targets and lack of ICT specialists
- The number of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) specialists across the EU27 needs to more than double in order to hit the digital decade goal
- The EU will need to treble the proportion of businesses using cloud to meet targets. Currently the EU is at 26% with the 2030 goal being 75% by 2030
- In all areas of the Digital Decade targets gaps still exist, including a 41% gap in very high-capacity networks
