New report highlights gaps in EU Digital Decade 2030 cloud adoption targets and lack of ICT specialists

  • The number of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) specialists across the EU27 needs to more than double in order to hit the digital decade goal
  • The EU will need to treble the proportion of businesses using cloud to meet targets. Currently the EU is at 26% with the 2030 goal being 75% by 2030  
  • In all areas of the Digital Decade targets gaps still exist, including a 41% gap in very high-capacity networks

What can women who want to get into tech do to break into the field? Here are seven tips from two women who have been there.

Outlining value-added tax (VAT) systems in 142 jurisdictions, the 2022 edition of our annual reference book is now available to download as a pdf. All of the content is current as of 1 January 2022.

New chapters for 2022 include: Anguilla, Bhutan, Cambodia, Congo (Republic of the), Lao (People’s Democratic Republic of) and Sri Lanka. The Oman chapter has also been updated to reflect the new VAT law.
