According to the Ministry for Regional Development, the Czech Republic already used 90% of the EU funds allocated to it in the previous financial framework 2007-2013. Some €26 billion was available for the Czech Republic, the Czech crown (CZK) value being radically influenced by the Czech National Bank´s intervention on the exchange rate. Last year, the Ministry expected the non-used funds to amount to 85 billion CZK, today´s expectation is below 10 billion CZK.
