Inflation in the EU resumed downward trend in February 2013. In February, the EU27 annual inflation rate fell from 2.1% in January 2013 to 2.0% in February 2013. Euro area inflation fell as well, from 2.0% in January 2013 to 1.8% in February 2013.
The lowest annual inflation rates were measured in Greece (0.1%), Portugal (0.2%) and in Latvia (0.3%). The highest annual inflation rates were observed in Romania (5.2%), Estonia (4.1%) and the Romania (3.8%).
