European inflation down in November

Annual inflation in euro area was 2.2% in November 2012 and 2.4% in the EU27, down compared to October 2012. It dropped by 0.8 and 0.9 percentage points respectively, compared to November 2011.

Countries with the lowest annual inflation were Greece (0.4%), Sweden (0.8%) and Cyprus (1.4%). The highest annual inflation rate was recorded in Hungary (5.3%), Romania (4.4%) and Estonia (3.8%).
