planes.cz: New flights from Prague

Beginning 2 April 2019, Air Arabia Maroc will operate direct flights between Prague and Casablanca. The route will be available to passengers twice a week – every Monday and Thursday. It will be operated by an Airbus A320 aircraft in a one-class configuration, for 168 passengers, Prague airport announced.

American Airlines will offer more seats and Premium Economy on flights between Václav Havel Airport Prague (PRG) and Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) in 2019, due to popular demand and strong ticket sales. The flight next year will be operated by larger Airbus A330-200 aircraft, featuring Premium Economy and more than 500 additional seats per week for travelers to book, Prague airport wrote.

Ryanair celebrated the first flight on its new twice weekly winter service from Prague to Amman and the start of its 5 new winter routes from Prague. Ryanair’s Prague winter schedule includes 19 routes in total, with 5 new services to Amman, Marrakesh, Ovda Eilat, Paris Beauvais and Pisa, according to Prague airport.

Delta Air Lines’ CEO Ed Bastian told the audience at the Skift Global Forum in New York that the airline was working hard toward offering free in-flight Wi-Fi to all of its passengers. Though Bastian neglected to attach an exact timeline to his claim, he noted that the plan comes in response to Delta passengers’ vocal desire for fast, free connectivity, according to forbes.com.
