planes.cz: New flights to Prague, Pardubice

Václav Havel Airport Prague will have another direct connection with the United States of America starting with the 2020 summer flight schedule. Today, American Airlines, one of the largest carriers in the world, announced the launch of new seasonal service between Prague and Chicago. The airline will operate the route with modern Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft, the airport informed. Tickets for the route will be available for purchase on 12 August via the carrier’s website: www.aa.com. Next year, travellers from Prague will thus be able to fly directly to four destinations in the United States of America, namely to New York with Delta Air Lines (JFK) and United Airlines (Newark), to Philadelphia and to Chicago with American Airlines. More.

easyJet has begun selling tickets for the new route, which will connect Prague and Geneva from November 1 Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, planes.cz informed. More. Alongside the announcement of its new route from Prague, easyJet has announced the launch of its flights from Geneva to Aqaba, Jordan, Prague Airport added.

From 28 October 2019 there will be a new route operated by easyjet from Prague to London Luton Airport. It is the fourth easyJet service from Prague Airport to one of the airports in London. The new service will be available daily, Prague Airport informed

SkyUp, a low cost Ukrainian company, confirmed end of July 2019 that it will open several routes to the Czech Republic in the winter of 2019. It will fly between Lviv and Prague every Thursday and Sunday from 17 October 2019 and the route is planned to be operated year-round. The price is set from 36 EUR for one way. Also, year-round flights between Kharkov and Prague are planned for Thursdays and Sundays from 17 October 2019. The ticket price starts at 54 EUR for one way. Pardubice airport will operate Pardubice-Kiev year-round flight on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday from 22 October 2019. More. More details here. Starting in October, passengers will be able to choose from among four direct flights from Prague to Ukraine, Prague Airport informed.

LOT announced a new connection between Budapest and Prague up to twice a day from the start of the summer schedule on March 30, 2020, planes.cz informed. More. Tickets are on sale.

S7 Airlines, a Russian air carrier, has announced that effective the 2020 summer season, it will add a third frequency on its route connecting Prague and Novosibirsk. The new connection will be operated every Wednesday from 29 April to 21 October 2020, complementing the existing Monday and Friday scheduled flights, Prague Airport informed.

Ural Airlines announced that it will operate a new direct flight between Prague and Perm, Russia twice a week, starting 18 September 2019. Ural Airlines will fly to four destinations from Prague. This will be the tenth destination in Russia that passengers can fly to/from the Václav Havel Airport Prague, Prague Airport informed.

WizzAir announced that from 18 December 2019 it will operate a new flight between Prague and the Moldovan capital Kishinev. In addition, the air line is adding a new rotation to its regular Georgian Kutaisi line from December 19, to be operated three days a week, planes.cz informed. More.

Air Malta, Corinthia Hotels and the Malta Tourism Office celebrated the 20th anniversary of the launch of Air Malta's flights to Prague used by 200,000 passengers sofar, planes.cz reported.
