During the whole year 2015, the number of guests in the Czech Republic increased by 10.2 percent and the number of overnight stays by 9.6 percent. Tourists, both residents and from abroad, went up 13.3 percent and 7.3 percent respectively. The number of overnight stays was higher for both groups than in 2014.  In all regions of the Czech Republic the number of guests as well as the number of overnight stays went up. The best results were in Hradec Králové region, up 18.7 percent, and also in Liberec region, up 17.3 percent, Prague Post informed based on the data released by the Czech Statistical Office.
