Due to the enormous worldwide interest in the recently discovered musical collaboration between Wolfgang Mozart and Antonio Salieri, the piece will be displayed to the public for two weeks, from Feb. 26 to March 11, at the Czech Museum of Music. It will be displayed near a harpsichord that Mozart once played during his 1787 visit to Prague, Prague Post writes.
The piece is the only known printed copy of “Per la Ricuperata Salute di Ofelia,” dating from 1785, had been in the Czech music archives at the National Museum since 1950, but it wasn’t until the archives was re-cataloged in 2015 and put online that anyone realized its significance.
