According to the Ernst and Young survey people in the Czech Republic perceive that there is a problem regarding corruption. Compared to other counties the Czech Republic was better only to Greece and African or Latin-American countries. For example more than 63 % of Czech managers are willing to pay “extra” costs for representation. For example European average for these representation costs is ranging from 30 to 31 % and global average is even lower and amounts to 29 %. Czech managers are also keen on receiving various material gifts or amenities such as golf in exchange for receiving subsidies.
