The share of women in politics in the Czech Republic has been low. Since 1946, when it reached about 10%, the share has climbed to around 20%. According to the data provided by the Inter-Parliamentary Union, the Czech Republic currently ranks 68th (together with Bangladesh and Liechtenstein) out of 190 countries.
