According to a survey conducted by the Association of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises and Crafts of the Czech Republic and Ipsos Agency, 74% of respondents (exporters) had no idea what was Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership. The survey took place during the Czech Business Weekend in New York, an event attended by 50 medium-sized Czech companies. Only one-half of those who were informed about TTIP perceived it as an advantage.
Czech exports to the United States of America grew by 26% year-on-year and should exceed CZK 100bn in 2015, Komerční banka and the AMSP say. The USA ranks 5th in the volume of investment in the Czech Republic and the US imports in the Czech Republic rose by 38% year-on-year.

In 2015, exports to the United States of America will exceed CZK 100bn (this equals to 2.5% of the total volume of Czech exports, and at the same time, to a 6% share of value added, 2nd largest share after Germany).
