On 8 June Members of the European Parliament approved the non-binding resolution on the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) with 436 YES votes against 241 NO votes. The negotiations on the TTIP were blocked by the disagreement on the issue of the so-called ISDS mechanism (Investor State Dispute Settlement mechanism).
