Happiness Index made by Spanish scientists shows results for Czech Republic
Researchers at the University of Valencia and Polytechnic University of Valencia in Spain invented the Happiness Index named HAIN in a study using official data from sources such as the UN, World Data Bank and Eurostat. They tested the index on 13 European countries for which all the data they wanted was available: Austria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, France, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and the UK.

Czech Statistical Office: Pessimistic forecast says 7.4 mil., optimistic 12.38 mil. inhabitants in Czech Republic in 2100. Immigration behind population increase in Q1-3 2018
The Czech Statistical Office has recently announced estimated population growth in the Czech Republic. According to the pessimistic scenario, in 2050 there could be below 10 mil. and in 2010 only 7.4 mil. inhabitants in the Czech Republic. The optimistic scenario foresees the population of 11.34 mil. and 12.38 mil., respectively.

Effective 1st of October 2018 applications for Employee cards and Blue cards for highly qualified workers from India are assessed under a Czech Government Program „Project India“. This Program offers a preferential approach for those Indian workers whose prospective Czech employer has fulfilled the conditions to be included in this Program.
