Eurostat: 46.4% of employed persons in the Czech Republic participated in training courses related to their jobs

In 2016, the Netherlands (61%), Sweden (59%) and Finland (58%) had the highest participation rates in job-related training. The lowest rates were in Greece and Romania (8% each) as well as Italy (11%). The Czech Republic ranked 5th among the EU member states (46.4%).

The Legatum Institute/expats.cz: The Czech Republic is weak in social capital

The Legatum Institute, a British think tank has ranked the Czech Republic’s prosperity 26th in the world among 149 ranked countries, expats.cz wrote. The Czech Republic is on the edge of becoming innovation economies, but require further improvements to areas like Social Capital in order to create lasting and stable prosperity, the Legatum Institute report said.
