New report highlights gaps in EU Digital Decade 2030 cloud adoption targets and lack of ICT specialists

The number of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) specialists across the EU27 needs to more than double in order to hit the digital decade goal The EU will need to treble the proportion of businesses using cloud to meet targets. Currently the EU is at 26% with the 2030 goal being 75% by 2030   In all areas of the Digital Decade targets gaps still exist, including a 41% gap in very high-capacity networks

Outlining value-added tax (VAT) systems in 142 jurisdictions, the 2022 edition of our annual reference book is now available to download as a pdf. All of the content is current as of 1 January 2022. New chapters for 2022 include: Anguilla, Bhutan, Cambodia, Congo (Republic of the), Lao (People’s Democratic Republic of) and Sri Lanka. The Oman chapter has also been updated to reflect the new VAT law.
