Passenger Numbers at Prague Airport Increase by 213 Percent during 2021 Summer Schedule with Number of Movements in Czech Sky Growing Year-on-Year
During the 2021 summer operational season, Prague Airport handled over 3 million passengers, representing a year-on-year increase of 213%. The offer of connections comprised a total of 123 destinations, operated by 51 air carriers. Over a third of passengers used the services of Smartwings airlines. Air Navigation Services of the Czech Republic, a state-owned enterprise, provided its services to a total of 291,393 flights in the Czech airspace during the 2021 summer season, representing a 51% year-on-year growth.

2021 Winter Flight Schedule: Direct Connections from Prague to Almost 100 Destinations & Increased Frequencies on Existing Routes
Effective Sunday, 31 October 2021, the winter flight schedule comes in effect, offering direct connections from Václav Havel Airport Prague to 92 destinations, including exotic countries such as Kenya, Mexico and the Dominican Republic. There will also be new routes operated under the winter flight schedule, for example, to Tel Aviv, Naples, Odessa, Kyiv, Dubai and Amsterdam. The launch of Eurowings' base operations will also help facilitate the resumption and further development of air traffic.
