Prague Airport to Reinforce Passenger Checks on Arrival

As per the new protective measure implemented by the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic, Prague Airport, the Foreign Police of the Czech Republic and the Customs Administration of the Czech Republic will strengthen the control of the currently valid conditions for entry into the country. Together, the parties thus respond to the gradually increasing traffic at Prague Airport and the possibility to visit the country for tourist activities by foreigners. From 1 September 2021, the arrival procedure for all passengers flying to Václav Havel Airport Prague will be adjusted. Until further notice, the changes implemented at both Prague Airport terminals will affect tourists as well as citizens of the Czech Republic and the EU+ countries returning to the Czech Republic.

Czech Airlines resumes scheduled flights between Prague and Moscow on a daily basis

As from 6 September 2021, Czech Airlines resumes the daily operation of its Prague – Moscow – Prague scheduled service. The OK894/5 Prague – Moscow – Prague flight will depart from Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport (Terminal D) every day at 14:50 with arrival at Prague Vaclav Havel Airport (Terminal 1) at 16:35 local time. The departure from Prague is at 10:15 with arrival at Moscow at 14:00 local time every day. The flights are operated in partnership with Smartwings (flight number QS8894/5).

Hard Rock® Opens Its Iconic Rock Shop at Václav Havel Airport Prague

The Hard Rock Café American chain, which has been operating a restaurant and a merchandise store in the center of Prague for over ten years, is now adding another venue to its portfolio. The Rock Shop will launch its operations at Václav Havel Airport Prague on August 3, 2021, offering passengers all the iconic items from the brand’s range of merchandise, starting with T-shirts, sweatshirts, pins, mugs and many other things. The new store is located in Terminal 1, designated for flights to countries outside the Schengen area.
