The Czechs kept income inequality unchanged during the latest economic and financial crisis, which is a significant achievement, and the country has a low uptake of digital services for citizens, OECD's Government at a Glance 2017 report says.

Seventeen years after ratifying the OECD Anti-Bribery Convention, the Czech Republic has yet to prosecute a case involving the bribery of foreign public officials. This is a cause for concern, especially considering the export-oriented nature of the Czech economy, which includes high-risk sectors for bribery including machinery and defence materials.
