Suspended online sales reporting duty to kick in again only as of January 2021

By way of an amendment to Act No. 137/2020 Coll., the suspension of EET (the online sales reporting system) has been extended until 31 December 2020. This means that reporting to be mandatory as of 1 January 2021 again.

Planning contracts as a solution to the relationship between municipalities and developers

On Monday, August 24, 2020, the Czech government approved a new Construction law. According to MMR, it should apply from spring next year that efficiency should accrue gradually until the middle of 2023. In connection with the new Construction Act has so far resulted in a public debate especially around a single authorization procedure, tightening deadlines, the introduction of fiction consent of the authorities, or changes structures of building authorities.
