1. Employers' obligations and reporting channels
Introduction an internal reporting system (IRS)
- employers with 250 or more employees – by 1 August 2023
- employers with up to 249 employees – by 15 December 2023
- IRS must allow receipt of reports in verbal, written or personal form
Other obligations
- to designate a competent person and ensure that only the competent person communicates with the whistle-blowers and evaluates the reports
- publication of the prescribed information on the company webpage
- to take appropriate action to remedy or prevent the unlawful conduct
Reporting channels:
- IRS, External (Ministry of Justice), Publication (strict conditions) or Czech authorities selection up to the whistle-blower

Award ‘Czech Idea’ was lent to Linet
Last year, a project of LINET and University of Hradec Králové became the winner in one of four main categories of the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic Awards, which annually awards the best applied research projects. Last year's absolute winner was the project “COVID-19 Infodemic: AI communication platform suppressing the infodemic.” Its main researcher, Václav Moravec, dedicated the Czech Idea statuette to the winners of all categories of the TA CR 2022 Awards.
The European Commission selected the EU Digital Identity Wallet Consortium for the EU Digital Identity Wallet Pilots
The EU Digital Identity Wallet Consortium (EWC), was selected by the European Commission to run one of the Large Scale Pilots for the new EU Digital Identity Wallet (EUDI) ecosystem. Avast, a leading digital security and privacy brand of Gen™, sits on the Executive Team of the consortium, having been closely involved in its formation. The EUDI Wallet is a part of the proposed eIDAS2.0 regulation, which will provide all European citizens access to a trusted digital identity provided by their government and accepted by all EU Member States and EFTA.
