Prague.tv: Expats enjoy life in the Czech Republic

Expats living in the Czech Republic have an overall positive view of their lives. People were particularly positive about life-work balance, ranking the Czech Republic fifth out of 46 countries covered. Overall, the country came in 12th place in HSBC's Expat Explorer Survey, Prague.tv writes.

Arcadis 2017 Sustainable Cities Mobility Index: Prague ranks 5th

Zurich, Paris and Prague are the highest placed European cities, ranking second, third and fourth respectively, with strong scores in the Planet and Profit sub-indices - due to established infrastructure, efficient metro systems and commitment to green technology.

Czech large research infrastructures - new website launched

A website channeling information about Czech large RDI infrastructures, including job openings, was launched at the beginning of November 2017. Supported by the Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic.

World Bank Group Doing Business 2018 report: Czech Republic ranks 30th, down 3 places

The Czech Republic made starting a business less expensive by introducing lower fees for simple limited liability companies. Also, the Czech Republic made paying taxes more complicated by introducing new requirements for filing VAT control statements, the 2018 Doing Business report published by the World Bank Group says.
