City tourism is growing against disturbances, European Cities Marketing writes. Prague ranks 7th in overnight stays with almost 16.8 mil bednights in 2016, a 5.5% increase year-on-year.

AmCham CZ: Manufacturing: Regional Employment and Median Wage by Occupation 2011-2016 - Moravia

AmCham Czech Republic publishes a new report within the Czech Workforce series. Employment of Research and development managers in the South Moravian (Jihomoravský) region increased by 20% between 2011 and 2016, but fell by 14.3%.y-o-y in 2016.

AmCham Czech Republic publishes a new report within the Czech Workforce series. Year-on-year in Prague in 2016, employment of Research and development managers recorded a decrease by 10.62%, while in other regions, the number of the positions stagnated.

WTO Global Value Chain Development Report 2017: Between 2000 and 2015 a significant shift occurred between the medium–low and the medium–high technology inputs exchanged by Czech Rep. and Poland

The Czech Republic, Hungary, and Poland, the largest players in intraregional trade in manufacturing inputs among the European economies, accounted for more than 11% of intra-Europe exports in intermediate goods in 2015, a share that more than quadrupled since 1995, the WTO Global Value Chain Development Report 2017 report says.

OECD Skills for job: Qualification mismatch in the Czech Republic reaches 16%

According to OECD, qualification mismatch in the Czech Republic reaches 16%. Qualification mismatch describes a situation for which a worker has qualifications that exceed or do not meet those generally required for the job. Field-of-study mismatch reaches 31%. This is a situation when workers are employed in a different field from what they have specialized in.
