Expats.cz: Prague Named One of Top 10 Destinations In the World for Spring

Travel planning and booking site TripAdvisor today announced the winners of its Travelers’ Choice awards for destinations, recognizing travelers’ favorite places around the world. The newly released rankings also calculated the cheapest time of year to travel to the Czech capital, Expats.cz says.

Czech Workforce Report 5 updated for 2016 data: Ústecký region: Employment & Median Wage 2011-2016

The region experienced employment drop during the 2011-2016 period; more manual than non-manual jobs were eliminated in the period. However, year-on-year in 2016, 3,300 jobs were added, both manual and non-manual.

AmCham France: French Presidential Elections: Emmanuel Macron and Marine Le Pen will compete in the final round, after a defeat of mainstream parties

Following yesterday's vote, Emmanuel Macron, who describes himself as liberal and centrist, came first (23,86%) and will face off against the runner-up, Marine Le Pen (21,43%) of the far right. This is the first time in the Fifth Republic that the candidates of France’s established parties (the Socialists and Republicans) have not reached the run-off, AmCham France comments.

Czech Statistical Office: Commuters working in Prague make 16% of country's total employment

According to the Czech Statistical Office, over 40% of employees working in Brno and Prague have attained tertiary education. Commuters working in Prague make 16% of the country's total employment.
