Interview with Transport Minister Ťok: „We have a systemic problem that has more to do with our political and commercial culture than it does with the public procurement law.“

Dan Ťok accepted the post of Minister of Transportation after a long and successful career in business. Before entering politics, he chaired The Platform for Transparent Procurement, which pushed for better quality in procurement through increased planning and accountability. The Sobotka government was in the middle of its term when he joined, and his two year stay in office is scheduled to end at the end of the year. Recently, Minister Ťok traveled to Washington, DC, and Chicago to meet with government and business on the future of transportation, and helped lead a discussion in Prague on whether public procurement reform has resulted in better delivery of public services. Ťok answered a few questions after the workshop. Verze v češtině uvnitř.
