Ekonom: Digitization of public administration will enable people have time to go out with friends

Czech Republic is about ten years behind the digitalization of public administration, while Estonia, on the other hand, is a model for the world. Except for marriage, divorce and property purchase, there is no official act in this small Baltic country of 1.3 million people that cannot be done online. Even small children learn about robotics there. Marten Kaevats, a former digitalization advisor to the local government, claims that this transformation is not so much a matter of new technologies as of people's willingness to work with them.

White & Case advises Ukraine on consensual debt deferral

Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine on a comprehensive liability management transaction that, among other things, defers for two years Ukraine's contractual obligation to make payments under approximately US$25 billion of its international bonds, GDP-linked warrants and sovereign-guaranteed debt obligations.

Prague Airport Continues to Reduce Emissions Adding 15 Electromobiles in Its Fleet

Pursuing its sustainable development strategy, Prague Airport has long been striving to reduce its carbon footprint, by using electric cars alongside other things. As many as fifteen electromobiles were thus added to the airport fleet this week, and the number is to be matched again next year. Of this year's fifteen vehicles, five are intended for carsharing, the rest will be used in various airport operational departments. Another Nissan electric car has been used at the airport in the baggage sorting area for four years.

Citi celebrated 30 years of doing business in Czechia

The bank was the first stop on the drive down Evropa from Letiste Airport for many investors, and finances many of the deals that transform the economy today, and will play a big role in reconstructing ukraine and building an integrated European market.
