Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2016: Czech VŠB-Technical university of Ostrava among top universities

The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2016 placed VŠB-technical university of Ostrava among  top universities. High quality of education, research and technical equipment (supercomputer) are among the reasons for the success of the university. The university is the only Czech university in the ranking. Also, Czechs consider Czech science to be world-class, CVVM agency informed.

Eurostat: Vacancies for ICT specialists most difficult to fill in the Czech Republic and Luxembourg

The highest percentage of enterprises which had difficulties in recruiting ICT specialists was recorded in the Czech Republic and Luxembourg (both with 59%), followed by Austria (56%), the Netherlands (53%), Malta (52%), Estonia, Ireland and Slovenia (all 51%), recently published Eurostat data say.
