MDR Regulation effect is being deferred by a year

The effect of the Regulation on Medical Devices (EU 2017/745, MDR) has been deferred to 26th May 2021 – this change gives the member states as well as the EU bodies time to focus on overcoming the coronavirus pandemic and allows for the finalisation of implementation provisions related to the MDR taking effect.

Government approves measure decreasing support for existing photovoltaic power plants

At a press conference on April 27, 2020, the Minister of Industry and Trade announced that along with a contract with the semi-state-owned ČEZ on building new blocks for the Dukovany nuclear power plant, the government had also approved a bill amending the act on supported resources including a measure decreasing support for existing photovoltaic power plants (FVE).
