EHCI 2017: Czech Rep. ranks 17th, main difference from neighbouring Slovakia is a decent but not excellent score on Accessibility

According to the 2017 Euro Health Consumer Index (EHCI). published by the Health Consumer Powerhouse, some eastern European EU member systems are doing surprisingly well, particularly Slovakia, Slovenia, the Czech Republic and Estonia, considering their much smaller healthcare spend in Purchasing Power adjusted dollars per capita. NUV: Qualification mismatch low in engineering jobs

A recently published report by the National Institute for Education (NUV) shows that, overall, the level of application of qualification acquired by vocational education has not changed much over the 10-year period covered by the analysis. More pronounced, positive changes in terms of professional stability can be observed in the field of engineering.

ISPV/Trexima/ČSÚ: Recent data on median & average wages, labor costs per employee

In 3Q 2017, the biggest difference between median and average was recorded in the private sector in the banking and insurance sector, where the gap reached CZK 11,652 per month. There are professions in the information and communication sector where the monthly average wage was 10,012 CZK higher than the median wage, says Trexima, based on data in the Information System on Average Income ISPV that includes data on median wages.
