emerging-europe.com: New report claims Czech Republic has lowest inequality in EU

While global inequality has declined significantly over the past three decades, the gap between the real real incomes of the young and the elderly remains significant. This is one of the key findings of a new report published by the IMF: Inequality and Poverty Across Generations in the European Union, emerging-europe.com writes. The GDPR and internet shops in practice / third parties

The international law firm Taylor Wessing has been working intensively on the GDPR for more than a year. A number of queries have been reported in connection with its implementation as regards online shopping. Simply by browsing an e-shop via your mobile phone or computer, you have already provided them with valuable information about your preferences, even without making a purchase. The collection of such information is used to display so-called personalized ads, and sent not only to the e-shop but also to other entities with which the e-shop collects personal data. Guidance in this area is offered by Karin Pomaizlová, a partner of the law firm Taylor Wessing Praha.

Prague.tv: Prague Castle tops list of tourist attractions

Prague Castle, the funicular at Petřín and Prague Zoo were the city’s three biggest tourist attractions in 2017. Figures from Prague City Tourism count places with paid admission, which excludes sites like Charles Bridge as there is no way to accurately count visitors, Prague.tv writes.
