Eurostat: Czech Republic among countries with lowest amounts of waste generated in 2015

With less than 300 kg per person, Romania (based on 2014 data) and Poland had the lowest amounts of waste generated in 2015, followed by the Czech Republic and Slovakia (both just over 300 kg per person), recently published Eurostat data show.

SPIR: Czech internet economy reaches 4.3% of GDP

The Czech internet economy amounts to 4.3% of the country's GDP and increased by 15% from CZK 164 bn to CZK 188 bn between 2011 and 2015. The share of the internet economy on GDP is higher than that of health care, agriculture and banking and finance, the Czech Internet Economy 2016 report published by SPIR says.

Eurostat: Gross monthly earnings by economic activity in the EU | Deloitte European Salary Survey

According to Eurostat data, in the Czech Republic, gross monthly earnings exceed 1,000EUR in the sectors of Information & Communication, Finance & insurance, Electricity, gas & steam, Scientific & Techincal activities and Mining & quarrying. Deloitte European Salary Survey adds that employer costs for work in the Czech Republic are the highest in Central Europe. The net income of employees with higher salaries is relatively high.
